Back On Track
Good day to all of our wonderful hydro & organic gardeners!
2009 has been quite a roller coaster for East Coast Hydro, but we
want to reassure you that we are still here and are intent on being
better than we've ever been. We come back with a renewed sense of
energy and dedication to providing the best possible gardening
experience. With our current economy and continually growing body
of evidence against commercially grown food, it is now more important
then ever to grow your own.
Down On The Farm
We are currently working on the farm at East Coast Hydro. This is very
labor intensive but the work is progressing nicely. Our plan is to grow
enough fruits and vegetables so that we can eliminate going to the grocery
store! We envision a hydroponic farm to supply the local community, a
community garden where members of the community can come out, contribute,
and take a little home with them each trip, as well as a learning center
for the local students to come out and learn about sustainable agriculture
(farming/gardening...whatever works). We will also be holding monthly classes
to help you get your own garden going. How fun to pick your meals from your
own back yard!
We are currently working on a list of projects and are eager to start taking
volunteers soon!
Web Site
Exciting news!! We are re-launching our web site. It is currently being worked on
in hopes that it will be more user friendly with many new items. We are also
looking forward to new features, such as a preferred product section, upcoming
videos of the farm, instructional how-to videos and the resident boxer etc.
Hope to see and hear from you soon!
GROW YOUR OWN!!!
